There are those who believe the curse on man was one made long ago, when the old gods still walked the Earth. As foretold on the Great Wall of Records, man’s own greed would inevitably lead him down the path to his own destruction and another dark age would be wrought upon the world. For man’s negligence, his profanities and his sins would be punished. These true “believers”, worshipers of the old religion, would wait for an eternity for his prophecy to be fulfilled. For centuries they sat back and watched. Waiting for the time when their power would be renewed and “the believers” would once again hold sway over the dark continent. It would be a reign that would give rise to new evils and all too familiar monsters. But as is often the case with humanity one thing always remains constant, hope. Humanity's hope for a brighter future. Often carried on the whispers of the wind.
